What Causes Bladder Pain? |
|
Bladder problems can be caused by a number of underlying problems that result in infection, inflammation, injury, or other damage. Depending on the type and severity of the disorder, the pain may be categorized as a throbbing, sharp, dull, or burning sensation. The frequency and duration of the pain can also vary depending on what specific disorder is responsible. Though there are countless bladder maladies, ranging from mild to critical, the most common causes of bladder discomfort are overactive bladder, bladder infection, and bladder prolapse. These disorders are treatable conditions; however, if not addressed immediately, they could possibly lead to bladder cancer.
